The IAOSI exists to protect the public by providing an education and certification process that recognizes specialty training in Oral Surgery and Implantology attainment of the necessary knowledge, experience and skills for an experienced Implantologist and a commitment to lifelong learning and contemporary practice. Successful completion of the Education and/or certification process leads to the Certificate “Competency in Dental Implantology (CDI)“.
Dr. Sanjay Asnani graduated from CSMSS Dental College and Hospital, Aurangabad in the year 1997. He received Gold Medal for securing highest marks in Final Year in Marathwada University. He has also received many other awards during his graduation.
He has presented papers on various topics at state, national and international conferences. He is practicing in Ahmednagar since last 17 years. After ten years of his practice he did his post graduation in oral and maxillofacial surgery from Pravara Medical &Dental College in the year 2010.
Since then he is working as a Consulting Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Implantologist and has performed many complicated facial surgeries in Ahmednagar. He has national and international publications against his name in various journals.
At present he is working as Associate Professor at YCMM Dental College and Hospital Ahmednagar. Till date he has operated more than 2000 major surgeries at various hospitals and has placed more than 500 dental implants at his centre.
He has received special training in Immediate Functional loading of dental implants by Prof. Stefen Ihde. Where a patient comes with no teeth and gets his teeth within 72 hours.
Also he has done various courses on Botox and Dental Lasers. At Sai care hospital painless and bloodless dental treatments are done with dental lasers. Painless root canal treatment, painless flap and gum surgeries, frenectomies, laser bleaching, treatment of Submucous fibrosis etc.
